The ion exchange resin contains a certain amount of water, which should be kept during storage and transportation. If the ion exchange resin is dehydrated during storage, it should be immersed in the salt solution with the concentration of about 10% before use to make it expand slowly and fully, and then diluted gradually with clean water. Do not immerse dehydrated resin directly in water to avoid rapid expansion of resin volume and breakage. During the storage of ion exchange resin, the pollution of rust, oil, strong oxidant and organic matter should be prevented to avoid oxidation degradation, poisoning and other accidents. The ion exchange resin should not be stored in the open air. The temperature of the storage place should be kept at 5 ~ 40 ℃ as far as possible, so as to prevent the resin from being frozen and cracked due to supercooling or overheating or accelerating the propagation of microorganisms, which will affect the product quality and reduce the product performance. The resin can also be stored in salt water without heat preservation device in winter. The concentration of salt water can be determined according to the temperature to avoid freezing.
